An Asian fusion cuisine that is so delicious, crispy and drenched in a favorable sauce!
2 lbs chicken cubed
3 cups oil for frying
marinated with
1 tbsp ginger and garlic
salt to taste
black pepper
marinate for about 20 min
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1/2 cup corn starch
1 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs
2 eggs
sauce ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger and garlic
3 tbsp of brown sugar
1/2 cup water
4 tbsp cornstarch to be used as a slurry
black and white sesame seeds for garnish
chopped spring onions for garnish
Start with adding the eggs and the chili garlic sauce as well as the cornstarch and the panko bread crumbs in the chicken and make sure you have combined all these ingredients now we are ready to fry the chicken. Heat the oil in a nice big wok start adding the chicken and deep fry it until it turns brown and crispy keep aside. Now assemble the sauce in a big measuring cup by adding the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, ginger and garlic, powder sugar, black pepper, and the sesame oil and give it a good whisk. Heat up a pot and add the sauce mixture go ahead and add the water and cornstarch slurry and cook it whisking continuously until the sauce thickens, once it thickens add the chicken pieces in there and stir until all the chicken is coated well. Transfer in a serving dish and sprinkle it with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions
