Very tasty bread pakoras, bhajiyas or fritters any way you call it still spells yummy!
6 slices Texas Toast ( cut in four pieces)
1 cup Chana or Gram Flour
2 tbsp Rice Flour
1 tsp Citric Acid (Optional)
1 tsp Lemon Pepper
1 tbsp Green Chutney
1 tsp Cayenne or per your taste
Salt per your taste
Black pepper per your taste
1 tsp Dried Parsley flakes for garnish
3/4 to 1 cup Water
2 cups Oil enough to shallow fry
Mix the two flours together and and add all the rest of the ingredients except for the water, mix it all well than start adding the water slowly until you have a lump free mixture that resembles pancake batter. Make sure your oil is nice and warm than dip the bread in the batter and fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
