These stuffed potatoes are a great idea for appetizers or just a side dish, bite into a soft layer of really tasty potato to be surprised with a tasty ground beef mixture.
6 large potatoes cut in half peeled and boiled
6 tbsp of ground beef that is already cooked
salt to taste
1 tsp lemon pepper
pinch of citric acid
1/2 cup of all purpose flour for dipping the champs in
1 egg beaten to dip in
3 cups canola oil
Skin the potatoes and cut them in half and boil them, in the mean time prepare the ground beef mixture if you don’t have any ready, cool the potatoes and mash them add the salt, lemon pepper, and cayenne and mix it well. Make two small patties take one patty and put the ground beef mixture in between and put the other patty on top and make a nice rounded ball then roll them in the flour and keep them aside while you assemble the rest. Beat your egg and re roll them in the flour again and dip them in the egg and fry in oil until nicely browned. May be served with green chutney or tamarind chutney, Enjoy!
