Very much like the Cadbury Crunchie chocolate you get in England, but this is homemade and absolutely delish!
Ing:
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
2/3 cups corn syrup
2 tbsp vanilla
3 tbsp baking soda
1 cup semi sweet chocolate melted
Method:
In a pot add all the ingredients except for the vanilla and baking soda, cook the mixture till you reach 285 degrees. Once you reach 285 degrees go ahead and add the vanilla and stir well, next add the baking soda and make sure you stir it really well, the mixture will bubble up a lot so make sure your trays or your workplace is ready and you have greased it so too so you are ready to pour it on. Once the candy is lukewarm spread the melted chocolate on the candy and wait a good 3 hours until it is completely ready and set….
Then with the knife tip just crack the candy and enjoy!
