Crispy fried chicken with an Indian touch, not only is it super delicious but really easy to make my kids loved it and were asking for more…
Ing:
3 cups of oil of your choice for frying
2 lbs of chicken breast sliced in long strips
1 tbsp ginger and garlic
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp tandoori masala
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oil
Ing for Coating the Chicken
1 cup white or all purpose flour
4 eggs
1 cup panko bread crumbs
sprinkle lemon pepper to all the three ing
salt
basil
black pepper
Method:
Marinate the chicken with ginger and garlic, black pepper, lemon pepper, chili powder, paprika, tandoori masala, onion powder and oil, mix all the ingredients really well making sure the chicken is completely coated with the spice mixture. Next in three different containers separate the flour in one eggs in the other and bread crumbs in the third, then add the salt, pepper and lemon pepper in each and keep it ready to coat it first in the flour then the egg then the breadcrumbs. Heat your oil up at 325 to 350 and slowly add the chicken one by one and fry them for about 7 min, place them on a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
