Delicious homemade hakka noddles that can be made in the comfort of your home.
Ing:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 to 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce (sambal)
1 tbsp thick soy sauce
4 tbsp soy sauce or to taste
1 Knorr chicken bullion crushed in 1 tbsp water
1.5 lb shredded chicken
2 bunches spring onions chopped
2 tbsp of the green onions kept aside for garnish (optional)
1 red bell pepper sliced and cut diagonally
1 small green bell pepper sliced and cut diagonally
1.5 cups slivered carrots
2.5 cups sliced white cabbage (reserve 1 cup to be put in later just before serving)
1 14 oz packet of parboiled chow mein noodles or any noodles that you would like to use
Method:
Prepare all the vegetables, pasta, and chicken and keep it aside. In a big wok add 2 tbsp ginger and garlic, next add the veggies except for the 2 tbsp of green onion and cabbage, stir fry this well on high heat. Next add the chicken, and the noodles stir everything really well and make sure all the ingredients are combined really well. Lastly add the crushed bullion or chicken stock, sambal, thick soy sauce
regular soy sauce, mix well. Add the noodles of your choice, If you need to snip the noodles go ahead and do that and serve it in the a serving bowl and serve immediately make sure and do a taste test and adjust the taste accordingly, at this time add the cabbage in and garnish with the spring onions and serve.
