Why go out and buy nuggets full of preservative and who knows what, here is a simple recipe of crispy chicken nuggets!
Ing:
2 cups oil for frying
2 lbs chicken cut in 1 to 11/2 inch cubed
1 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
salt to taste
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp black pepper
11/2 cups white flour
season with salt
seasoned with salt, lemon pepper, and garlic powder
11/2 cups panko bread crumbs
3 eggs beaten seasoned with
1 tbsp sambal
salt to taste
Method:
Marinade the chicken with the ginger and garlic, salt, lemon pepper and black pepper, mix all this really well and if you have the time then stick in the fridge for at least 20 min or overnight. In three different bowls get the flour and the seasoning mix ready, do the same with the eggs and the panko bread crumbs. Set up an assembly line starting with the flour, egg, and panko bread crumbs, start coating the chicken in the flour, next it goes in the egg and finally it goes in the breadcrumbs and set them on a plate. Once all the chicken have been dipped warm up the oil and start frying the chicken it should be about 5 minutes or until they are golden brown and white inside!
Dipping sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp of sweet chili sauce
3 tbsp sambal
Mix everything together and you have a dipping sauce in less than a minute that tastes amazing!
