This is one of my favorite sweet potato casseroles for the holidays!
Ing:
preheat oven to 400 degrees
bake for 45 min to 1 hour
6 small purple sweet potatoes baked and mashed
3 orange sweet potatoes baked and mashed
brown sugar
nutmeg
ground cinnamon
vanilla
heavy whipping cream
strudel ing:
1/2 cup graham crackers crushed
1.5 tbsp white flour
4 tbsp very called cold butter cubed
marshmallows split in half
For the purple sweet potato mixture you will need
1/4 cup brown sugar
enough whipping cream to make a good mixture
nutmeg
cinnamon
vanilla
Method:
In the orange sweet potato add the 1/4 cup brown sugar and 14 cup heavy whipping cream, mix this really really do a taste test and you can now go ahead and add the nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla in it and keep it aside. In a 9 x 13 pan layer the orange sweet potatoes next prepare the purple potatoes by doing the same method as the orange sweet potato filling and layer that on top of the orange sweet potato mixture. Mix the streusel ing but mixing the butter into the graham cracker and flour mixture until well combined, add this to the purple sweet potato layer and lastly arrange the split marshmallows on top of the strudel. Bake this in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until lightly golden.
