Ing:
3 cups white flour
3 tbsp vegetable shortening
Pinch salt
3/4 cups water
Method:
Mix the flour and the shortening together until it resembles crumbles, add the salt and once it starts holding the shape start adding very little water at a time until you have a nice soft dough, make sure and knead the dough for at least 5 min. Let the dough rest for at least 20 min, make 20 balls and start rolling them out until you have them all rolled out. With a rolling pin make them into nice round shaped, you may need extra flour to roll them out. Make sure you have your pan nice and hot, put the tortilla onto the pan and let it form some bubbles, once you see some bubbles peak at the bottom if you see some brown spots then turn them over and do the same thing for the other side, and once more turn it around and you have a fresh baked tortilla, put it in between a towel this will help keep it soft and moist.
