Method:
Combine all the dry ingredients and start adding the water slowly until the dough comes together, put the dough on a clean surface and bind it till nice and smooth, make 8 to 10 balls depending on how big you want to make the chapris. Let the dough sit for at least 20 min, after resting the dough roll the balls into a 3 by 3 puri or small puri brush with oil and dust with cornstarch, keep stacking the puris until all the balls are finished. now roll the stack of puris till you have one big flat roti about 12 to 14 inches and bake it in the oven for about 8 to 10 min. Take it out and let cool, now you can either cut it or just start peeling them until you are done peeling them all then cut in desired length and width. You can either freeze it or you can start folding them and fry it! These can also be stuffed and then frozen until you are ready to fry…..
Enjoy!
