These are super de duper chicken zinger burgers that is going to be a must on your dinner menu at least once a week.
Ing:
2 to 3 cups oil for frying
3 eggs beaten well (might need more depending on how many burgers you are planning to make
Enough chicken for as many burgers as you would like to make
Chicken breast marinated with
1 tsp ginger and garlic
salt to taste
pepper to taste
flatten the chicken breast and marinate with the following ingredients
1 tbsp greek yogurt
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp hot sauce of your choice
keep aside
flour mixture for the dipping the chicken in
2 cups white all purpose flour
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
mix well
now prepare the egg mixture by beating the eggs and adding
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
mix well and keep it aside
Sauce Ing:
3/4 cup mayonnaise
salt to taste
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
Keep aside this sauce we will use to top the fried chicken when we assemble our burgers
As many buns as you need
lettuce
tomatoes
cheese
pickles
or whatever you like to top the burger with
Method:
Put the oil in a pan and start heating it up, once it is about 300 degrees, take your chicken and dip it in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture then the flour mixture and slowly place it in the oil and fry it till it is nice and golden brown, the frying process should not take more then 7 min. Make the sauce and keep it aside. Make sure and put the chicken on a paper towel in order for it to drain the excess oil.
Once the chicken is all fried up and is a little cool then start assembling the burgers with the lettuce, chicken, sauce, tomatoes, pickles and more sauce if you choose.
