Simple, easy and not heavy yet has loads of stringy cheese and flavored with herbs, your family will keep asking for more!
Preheat oven at 350 degrees
You will need a 9×13 casserole dish
1 jar or 15 oz jar of pizza sauce
9 shells of wheat lasagna noodles boiled, rinsed and sprinkled with olive oil
2 cups fresh chopped baby spinach
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1.5 cup cooked ground beef
1.5 cups mozzarella cheese
1.5 cups cheddar cheese
On the bottom of the pan add about 1 tbsp of pizza sauce and cover the whole bottom, next line 3 lasagna sheets on the sauce and top with more pizza sauce, sprinkle with fresh spinach, next layer ground beef on top, lastly sprinkle some mozzarella as well as cheddar cheese on top, don’t forget sprinkling the two herbs on top as well as the parmesan cheese, continue layering it again twice so you have 3 layers. Lastly stick it in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes making sure to cover it with foil take it out of the oven take out remove the cover and sprinkle the last of the cheeses and bring up the temp of the oven to 400 degrees and pop it back in the oven until the cheese is nicely melted and bubbly!
Serve immediately
