All the taste and none of the preservatives, super delicious and very easy to make as well as very cost effective!
Ing:
2 lbs of flank steak 1/4 inch thick
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup worcestershire sauce
1 heaped tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
1 tbsp cajun seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp tajin powder (available in Walmart)
Method:
In a large measuring cup add all the marinade ingredients in there and in a 1 gallon ziplock bag add the meat and the marinade and make sure to try and take most of the air out mix it well and stick it in the refrigerator overnight or even 24 hours. In a large bowl put a sifter on top and try and take out as much excess liquid as you can. I even used a couple paper towels and laid the beef jerky on the them and I added another paper towel and laid the second batch on there and pressed the paper towel until i was sure It soaked up most of the marination. lay the jerky on a cookie sheet that has a cooling rack on it lay it in a single line making sure not to double it up. Stick it in the oven with adding more Tajin or more spices on the lowest setting or if you have a an oven that has a convection setting than do that and let it dry in there for at least 3 to 6 hours or until it is dry and semi crispy. Store in an airtight container or bag!
Enjoy!
