This is a quick video to show you how I brown my ground beef and use it for all my baked buns, fried samosa, casseroles to stuffed parathas. It is super easy to make and can also be used for sandwiches and tacos.
2 lbs ground beef
1/3 cup water
1.5 tbs chili garlic sauce
1.5 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tbsp garam masala
1.5 tsp corriander powder
1.5 tsp cumin powder a little less then
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional) salt to taste
1 small diced onion for garnish (optional) fresh chopped coriander for garnish (optioal)
Method: In a big pan add the ground beef on med low and mix it well, next add the water and mix it, sauté this until it is not pink anymore then add the ginger and garlic as well as all the spices and cook this for about 2 min until you have a really fragrant mixture. If you have a lot of water in it you can increase the stove until all the water evaporates. This mixture can be frozen for up to 6 months. If you are planning to use the mixture right away then add the onions and fresh coriander in it and let it cool before you stuff it. Enjoy!
