Ing:
1 stick of butter or 8 tbsp or
1/2 cup or 1/4 lb 2 cups powdered milk
1 cup sugar
2 cups chopped walnuts (reserve 1/2 of it for garnishing)
2 cups half and half
1 tsp crushed cardamom powder pinch of salt

Method: Turn the sauté mode on and add the butter and let it melt, once the butter is melted add the half and half, sugar, powder milk, pinch of salt, cardamom powder and the walnuts, give it a quick mix and wait till everything comes together. Cancel the sauté mode and put it on slow cooker mode, change the heat setting to low, otherwise your burn signal will go on, and let it cook for 4 hours, I honestly felt I could have let it go for even 5 hours in order to achieve the really dark brown color. Once my 4 hours were done I felt that I had to turn my sauté mode and keep mixing it so it wouldn’t burn on the bottom in order to achieve the dark brown color I was looking for. This can be completely up to you but cooking it more and getting the dark brown color really add a depth of rich taste to it.
Enjoy!
