You don’t have to miss out on cereal or crunchy foods just because you follow a low carb or diabetic lifestyle, the low carb recipe I have for you is sweet, crunchy and very easy keto recipe to follow. This is so versatile and is great as a breakfast cereal with a splash of almond milk or your choice of miIk I personally love it to top my chia seed pudding with this. You can also top this on a low carb yogurt, ice cream, or just have it to snack on. Makes a great travel item to take as well.
Ing:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup crushed pistachios
10.5 oz roasted unsalted sunflowers
1 cup roasted and slated papitas
1 cup coconut smiles (unsweetened)
1/2 cup roasted unsalted cashews
1/2 cup roasted pecans
2 to 2 tsp of erythratol
1 tsp lakanto maple syrup
1/2 to 1 cup sliced almonds
Method: In a large pan melt the butter and add all the seeds except for the sliced almonds and roast the seeds for about 5 minutes next add your choice of sweetener and once it’s a little golden brown then add the sliced almonds and cook it for another couple minutes and add the maple syrup if you like, lastly roast until the mixture is really nice and golden brown and crispy.
Enjoy!
