A delicious and homemade dinner made easy, great for potlucks
Ing:
3 to 4 cups of spaghetti or fettuccine
2 cups white sauce
11/2 cups of tomato sauce
For the kabobs
2 lbs of ground beef
1 tsp olive oil (to pan fry the kabobs)
1 tbsp ginger and garlic (fresh pureed)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp gharam masala
salt to taste
fresh chopped cilantro optional
sharp cheddar cheese
mozzarella cheese
For garnish (optional)
2 tbsp fresh or dried cilantro
1/2 tsp pepper flakes
1/2 tsp paprika
Method:
Boil the pasta and put it on a bottom of a casserole dish. Prepare the white sauce, tomato sauce and the kabob patties. For the kabob patties, in a bowl add your ground beef and add the ginger and garlic, onion powder, gharam masala, salt and chopped cilantro, mix it well and make them into patties and pan fry it in olive oil, once they are browned on both sides cover and let cook for about 5 to 7 min until they are fully cooked. Once all the preparations are done start layering, by putting the spaghetti on the bottom of a pan, next layer it with cooked hamburger patties, tomato sauce, sharp cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and the white sauce. You can either warm this up in the microwave, assemble it in the crock pot or bake it in the oven under 375 degrees until the top is a little dark and the casserole is warmed through about 15 to 20 min.
