Dough
Ing:
5 cups white all purpose flour
1 cup powder sugar or icing sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup warm water
1 egg
1 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp black coaca powder
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 to 2 tbsp milk to bind the dark dough
1 egg and
4 tbsp milk for the egg wash
1 tbsp ghee optional for brushing after the buns come out of the oven Filling
1/2 cup toasted hezel nuts chopped
1/2 cup toasted walnuts chopped
1/2 cup sliced toasted almonds chopped
3/4 cup toasted pistachios chopped
1/2 cup toasted pecans chopped (salted) enough Nutella to bring everything together
Method: Bind the dough with all the ingredients above except the two cocoas and divide the dough in two, in one half of the dough add the two cocoa powders and milk and make a dark dough and let both doughs rise until they are doubled in size. Prepare the nut mixture and set aside for later use. Once both doughs have rise follow the video tutorial on how to achieve the striped results and stuff them with the nut mixture. Let the buns rise and put it in a 350 degree preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until baked. I did decide to brush them with a little ghee to keep them moist and soft.
Enjoy!
