A delicious and creamy dinner that has crispy corn and your choice of meat or chicken!
1/2 cup butter or 8 tbsp
1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp flour
4 slices of cheese (optional)
1 cup shredded meat (cooked)
2 cans of rinsed and drained corn
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
3 to 4 cups milk
Melt butter on med heat and add the flour until the color changes and you smell a sweet aroma then go ahead and add milk little by little and stir until you have a thick sauce like (pancake batter) with no lumps then go ahead and add the cheese, corn, cooked meat, salt, and pepper.
Garnish with dried parsley flakes, black pepper and shredded pepper jack cheese.
Note: as the corn pie sits it will get thicker if you want to thin it out just add more milk!!!!
