Date Halwa made in different shapes, perfect snack for a midday energy picker upper or to have as you open your fast!!
Recipe:
4 cups dates (completely crushed)
1 1/2 tsp ghee or butter
2 tbsp of heavy whipping cream
2 cups of nuts of your choice
desiccated coconut for garnish
1/2 cup nuts for garnish (optional)
Method:
Put ghee in a saucepan and add the dates, wait till it softens up a bit than go ahead and add the whipping cream and cook for about 2 min. Lastly add the nuts and assemble anyway you choose!! Enjoy
