A tasty and healthy tandoori chicken grilled at home!
3 lbs chicken breast
saran wrap
3/4 cup oil
2 tbsp ginger and garlic
1 tbsp black pepper
salt to taste
2 tbsp lemon pepper
2 tbsp dried parsely
2 tbsp sumac
3/4 cup tandoori powder masala
1 lime to be sprinkled after chicken is cooked
In a bowl add ginger and garlic, pepper, salt to taste, Paprika, lemon pepper, dried parsley, sumac and the tandoori masala, stir well than add 1/2 cup oil and mix to foam a thick paste
The bowls that has the chicken add another 1/2 cup oil and add the paste and mix well using your hands (massage the meat making sure all the ingredients have mix well with the chicken. Let it marinate over night or 20 min. Next take a big piece of saran wrap and put it on a board than place the chicken pieces on the saran wrap and cover another piece of saran wrap on it and beat the chicken to form thin strips. Warm the grill up brush the chicken with oil and put it face down on the grill let stand till the edges become lighter and than put oil on this end and flip it over, continue until all the chicken is cooked. Lastly sprinkle fresh lime on it. This chicken can also be used to make fajitas or sandwiches.
