Recipe:
1/2 stick butter or 4 tbsp
6 tbsp flour
2 slices or cheese (optional)
1 cup shredded chicken (cooked)
2 cans of rinsed and drained corn
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Milk
Method:
Melt butter on med heat and add the flour until the color changes and you smell a sweet aroma then go ahead and add milk little by little and stir until you have a thick sauce like (pancake batter) with no lumps than go ahead and add the cheese, corn, cooked chicken, salt and pepper.
Note: as the corn pie sits it will get thicker if you want to thin it out just add more milk!!!!
Garnish with fresh pepper and sumac!!!
