Ever wanted to make the most melt in your mouth cookies? Well now you can! These are irresistible and makes it very difficult to have just one!

Preheat oven at 350
4 sticks or 16 oz or 2 cups unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of yellow food color (optional)
4 cups white flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
pinch of salt
In a large bowl add the room temperature butter and powdered sugar make sure and cream the mixture really well until light and fluffy, next add the egg and the food coloring and beat it again making sure that all the ingredients are incorporated really well. Once the mixture is combined add half of the flour mixture, baking powder and salt and mix with your hands. At this time you don’t want to use the mixture because you don’t want to over mix the mixture. This will insure the soft and melt in your mouth type of cookie. In a large pan start making small balls and place them about 1 inch apart. Let them bake for 30 min then turn the oven off and let them be in there until the oven cools down this will insure that the cookies are not only crispy but it will just melt in your mouth.
Makes about 30 cookies
