Soft melt in your mouth cookies with your choice of nuts.
2 sticks or 1 cup room temperature unsalted butter
1/2 cup powder sugar
2 cups powder sugar for dipping
3/4 cup of crushed almonds
21/4 cup plain flour
pinch of salt
2 tsp vanilla
Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat it until it’s nice and fluffy then add the vanilla. In a separate bowl add the flour and mix it with the salt then add that to the mixer and beat till it comes together, lastly add the almonds and cover it with saran. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour then bake at 400 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar, once cool roll again in powder sugar.
