A mouthwatering orange chicken recipe with a homemade orange and ginger sauce done my way!
11/2 cups of canola oil
11/2 pounds of chicken
1 tbsp of garlic and ginger
salt to taste
1 egg
1 tsp lemon pepper
11/2 tbsp cornstarch
In a bowl add your chicken, ginger and garlic puree, lemon pepper, salt, egg, and cornstarch. Mix all the ingredients really well, you can marinate this chicken for about 20 min. Pan fry the chicken in two batches and put it in a big bowl, this is going to be easier to mix it with the sauce. This can be served with rice, noodles, quinoa, or just about anything.
