Homemade fettuccine is so much more healthier for you than store bought or eating out! Give it a try and control what goes in your food!
Ing
1.5 lb boiled fettuccine or pasta
2 cups ground beef that has been cooked
salt to taste
For the sauce:
8 tbsp unsalted butter or 1/2 cup
1/2 cup white flour
salt to taste
black pepper optional
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1 lb of cheddar cheese shredded
2 to 2.5 cups milk depending on how thick you want it
Method:
Make the white sauce by adding the butter in a large pot and let it melt then add the flour and cook it till the color changes a little and a nice aroma will come out from there as well. Keep stirring continuously to prevent lumps add the milk all at once and keep stirring, add the salt and pepper and don’t stop stirring until it has thickened up next add the cheddar cheese and let it melt, once it has melted well add the oregano, basil , ground beef and stir some more, Finally add the noodles in the white sauce give it a good stir and make sure to give it a final taste test and serve it with garlic bread!
